& Process

I went through two interviews at the Arrowhead / Glendale AZ location. The first one was a panel interview with three candidates, which was kind of awkward because the person interviewing me wasn't the one I was supposed to meet with, and they seemed like they didn't have much experience interviewing. The second interview was a one-on-one with a manager, and it seemed to go okay until the first interviewer from the panel showed up again and took over, even walking the sales floor with me. They asked some weird questions and made a bunch of wrong assumptions about my career goals, experience, and what I want in a job. I followed up by email and phone a few times, but they just ghosted me. After more than a month without hearing back, I just pulled my application.

A VIEW is a virtual table created from a SQL query. It doesn't store data itself; it shows data from one or more tables dynamically. It acts like a table when queried, and the data is always up-to-date with the base tables. To create a VIEW, first write a SELECT query, for example: SELECT student_id, student_name, class FROM students WHERE status = 'Active'; Then, create the VIEW using: CREATE VIEW active_students AS SELECT student_id, student_name, class FROM students WHERE status = 'Active';

First, there was a chat with HR to go over my past experience, my sales management background, and why I'm interested in this job. We also talked about things like being flexible with my schedule, how I lead, and if I can get sales up. Then, I went to the store for an in-person interview with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. They wanted to know about my leadership style, how I manage people, and my sales approach. They asked me questions like what I would do to get my team motivated, deal with people not performing well, and boost sales when things are tough. The last interview was with a District/Area Leader. This was to see if I could manage different store sections, train a team of 8-12 people, and keep growing the business. They focused on how I get results, ensure good customer experiences, and make sure the team's performance matches what the company wants.

We first had interviews on campus from the job fair, then more interviews on campus that were invite-only. After that, we had an all-day event at the headquarters which included a building tour and interviews. The interviews were with people from different departments, totaling three rounds. This was followed by lunch with some executives and a tour of the whole building, where they also gave a presentation about how the business operates.
