My interview with Crisp was super fast, like only 10 days total, but it was one of the most in-depth hiring experiences I've ever had. It included a bunch of assessments and a project where I had to think critically and creatively. What really stood out was how they made the process tough but also really clear. Every step felt like it had a purpose, they communicated really well, and I came away from it feeling both pumped and intrigued about possibly joining Crisp. I think for anyone who's a really good fit for our team, this level of detail and focus on the candidate experience would be awesome and motivating.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process is rigorous and a bit drawn out, but it's for a good reason – to make sure only the best candidates get hired. The company culture is amazing, truly one of the most inspiring and supportive places I've ever worked. Everyone there is smart and sharp, but also humble, kind, and has a lot of personality. You can tell why the hiring process is so selective as soon as you get there. It makes sense why this company has been named one of Atlanta’s Top Workplaces for three years in a row. For the first time ever in my career, I can honestly say I love my job, and I'm so proud to be part of this incredible team.

I recently applied for a position at Crisp and was disappointed by their hiring process. Instead of a live interview, I was asked to record myself answering some pre-set questions with no opportunity for real-time interaction. This approach felt impersonal and one-sided, removing any chance for meaningful dialogue or clarifications. A strong hiring process should be a two-way conversation, allowing candidates to engage with the company and ask questions. Unfortunately, this method does not create a fair or engaging experience, and I believe it may deter high-quality candidates. I chose to withdraw my application rather than participate in a process that did not feel transparent or equitable. I hope Crisp re-evaluates this approach to attract and retain the best talent.

I’ve been contacted by crisp.com recruiters on LinkedIn multiple times over the past few years for an Account Executive role. Even though they reached out often, the interview process was consistently underwhelming. The recruiters seemed to have limited knowledge about me and didn’t ask meaningful questions about my experience or skills. Instead, they focused on questions about remote work preferences, which felt like a way to filter out candidates. They send out a pre-recorded video beforehand explaining their work policies, which made the whole experience feel impersonal and scripted. Overall, it seemed like the company was more concerned with logistical screening than assessing actual capabilities. Their business model also raises questions, particularly regarding its value proposition, especially since AI-driven video solutions can be created affordably with tools like InVideo. This makes me question their long-term viability and the ROI for their customers. If their HR team contacts you, I suggest thinking carefully about whether your time would be well spent.
