First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Continental.
Key Account Manager
My experience with Continental was extremely traumatic. I went through a three-month recruitment process involving various stages that were relatively straightforward, yet lacked specific feedback. I had seven interviews in total, three of which were with Ms. Andrea Bratio. Following a final panel interview, I was kept on hold for months. I prioritized this vacancy and declined other job offers that were ready to go. Unfortunately, I lost significant opportunities because Ms. Bratio provided no updates. When she finally responded, she assured me I would have an answer by December 22, 2025, but that deadline passed without a word. After such a long process and numerous conversations, I ultimately received an impersonal, automated rejection email from Continental rather than a personal follow-up. It was incredibly frustrating and lacked any personal touch. This was hands down the worst recruitment experience I have had in the last decade.

Programmer Helper
You start with an online application where you select which projects you're interested in. After that, there's a basic written test at their main office covering the technologies relevant to your chosen projects. This is followed by a technical interview with the project's mentor. In my case, it was mainly about general architecture and how I'd approach the project, but for others, it involved coding. It really depends on the project. Finally, there's an HR interview with a team lead and an HR manager.
- Could you explain what a REST API is?
Talent Acquisition Specialist
I got invited to interview, but it felt like a reflection of the company's internal problems I'd heard about. It seems like they have a toxic culture and no accountability from leadership. What's worrying is they aren't looking for someone to fix this culture; they said that if I were hired, management might ask me to skip steps in their hiring process, doing noncompliant things to meet goals. They said it would be my call to break the rules. I said I would never go out of compliance and would report it. They then asked, "What if your manager tells you that they want to stay out of it?" I thought that was obvious. The HR team asked me these questions. It's clear they want an order-taker, someone willing to take the blame later, not a leader who can make changes.
- Would you bypass a part of the hiring process if requested by a Senior Manager, even if it made the process non-compliant?
Engineer
- Would you like to start with some casual conversation about your commute or the weather to get comfortable?
- Can you tell us about your background, work experience, and current role?
- Why did you apply for this position, and what drives you?
