They started with mandatory questions and then had two rounds of interviews. I had to wait a while for a response. The company seemed to be in transition, which made some of the steps feel a bit uncertain, but it ended up being a positive outcome.

First, I was contacted by phone to schedule the first interview remotely on an online platform. After the first introductory interview, talking about my work experiences, my university path, we got into more detail and they explained the job, and at this point they asked me about my work availability (availability to travel and for business trips). Then there was a second interview where they explained the economic proposal.

I interviewed in Singapore, and first did a paper quiz. Then I interviewed with the QA Head. Two weeks later, I had a second round with HR. This HR experience was really bad, like a nightmare. I felt she might have been biased against foreigners. Her questions were all 'why us, why Continental Singapore, why...' to the point I couldn't answer. At one point, I thought it was a stress interview, but she wasn't trying to be professional, she was just unfriendly and seemed inimical. She even asked me HR-related questions about contracts and performance reviews, which I didn't know well, and then she explained them to me to show her 'professionalism'. In the end, she told me she'd interviewed many fresh graduates whose answers were better and that I didn't know before and still don't want to know now. I felt completely disrespected and upset. I suspect she was thinking foreigners are taking local jobs, which might be a thing at Continental Singapore but perhaps not elsewhere. Regardless, that last interview with the HR at Continental Singapore was the worst and the main reason I don't want to work there. My current company culture is very friendly, like heaven compared to hell.
