First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Continental.
Intern
It was a one hour interview call with the team manager. The interview was focused on OOP and it was mainly C++. I had to create a class and some functions to that class. At the end there were some basic questions regarding pointers and memory allocation.
- Implement a Clock class and some functions for it.
- Follow-up questions about C++ syntax for the clock class.
- Basic questions about pointers.
Intern
Probecarios contacted me. They asked screening questions and to demonstrate English proficiency. They asked for information to confirm I'm a student. I need to have student health insurance. The people from my school told me they said 'I don't like it, everything is fine, and thank you very much'.
- What is your English level?
- Tell me about your school projects.
- Do you have any information to show you are a student?
Mechanical Intern
After getting shortlisted based on my resume for a core Mechanical role, HR reached out to see if I was interested. They then set up an interview with the hiring manager. It was a single technical round, and I got a call back right after.
- Could you answer some basic mechanical questions?
- What do you know about engineering drawing?
- Can you discuss manufacturing processes?
