Executive Assistant
The interview process was quite intimidating, and I wasn't expecting it to be a panel interview. What was discussed in person didn't quite match the job description. It seems they hire several executive assistants and then decide where to place you based on where they think you'd be a good fit, so you don't really know your exact placement beforehand. I was initially told by the recruiter that I'd be supporting 3-5 SVPs, but during the interview, they mentioned I might be supporting a team of up to 20 individuals.

Technical Support Specialist
So I interviewed in May and July 2025 for this role, and they've posted it like five times since then. First, I spoke with the VP of Talent Attraction, then the Dubai Manager, then the London Team Lead, and finally the London Manager. I had to take time off work for these face-to-face interviews. The VP of Talent Attraction told me they weren't moving forward, even though I met all requirements, asked for a fair salary within budget, and live super close to the office, needing to be there 5 days a week. The London Manager even said the new hire would need to be punctual. Honestly, it feels like they're not serious about hiring for this position.
- Several IT-related questions were asked, but they didn't really assess IT skills.
- The interview was easy, likely because they don't actually want to hire someone for the role.
Director
The interview process was quite long, with 7 rounds spanning over two months. It included detailed preparation work. While everyone I spoke to was smart, professional, and engaged, and the case study was intellectually stimulating and well-structured with strong technical conversations, the feedback at the end was vague and focused on 'fit' rather than skills. It was disappointing that concerns about 'cultural and role fit' were only brought up at the very end, as this could have been addressed earlier. Seeing the role reposted afterward without changes also suggests a lack of clarity on expectations internally.

Associate, Communications & Training
The interview process included a first round video screening with HR/Talent Acquisition, followed by a second round with the Hiring Manager. There was also a written assessment, and then a third round with the Hiring Manager. All three rounds were conducted remotely via video. The HR/TA team was responsive, kind, and courteous throughout. Although I didn't get the role, I really enjoyed the hiring manager and the overall experience, plus I aced the written assessment. The recruitment experience was more pleasant than other companies I've interviewed with. It's a bummer I won't be joining Brookfield, but it's good they treat applicants with dignity.
