First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brookfield.
Senior Analyst
It's a 4 round process with people from India and Toronto. The rounds are typically technical and situational. Small changes might happen depending on the team. Good luck!
- Can you explain general concepts related to private equity fund accounting?
Analyst
The whole process took quite a while, over a month and a half, because so many people were involved in the decision-making. There were two in-person rounds, and I had to complete a simulation where I solved a real-time problem.
- Do you have an idea of what they are doing?
Analyst
Had an initial call with HR about my motivations and CV, then a good interview with the Hiring Manager where they talked about the position and asked me to walk through my resume and talk about my financial modeling experience. Then HR followed up. I guess I didn't get the job because they went quiet after the 3 interviews, or maybe the role was cut.
- Can you tell me why you're interested in Brookfield and this specific Funds Analyst role?
- Walk me through your resume.
- Tell me about your financial modeling experience.
