Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brookfield.
Finance Intern
We started with introductions where they shared their names, positions, and team details. I introduced myself, then they asked me interview questions with follow-ups. Finally, I had the chance to ask them questions about the team and the role.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
Finance Intern
The interview process was pretty simple and pretty casual. It was one round with two team members. They mostly asked basic behavioral questions and about my past experiences, not really technical or case stuff. There weren't any more rounds, and it felt like they just wanted to see if I was a good fit quickly, not really check my technical skills deeply.
- Could you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Accounting Intern
It was pretty easy. I only got to the first interview and couldn't answer the questions. The interviewer was chill and it felt less awkward as we went on. He ended it after 5 minutes.
- Tell me what you know about Brookfield.
