The interview process was super smooth and efficient. I had a couple of meetings, some on Zoom and one in person. They gave me a lot of good info about the company and what the job is really about right from the start. I also got to ask all the questions I had. I thought it was a solid process and the team seemed really into it.

We had a few rounds, it was pretty well laid out. First, a 15-30 minute call with a recruiter to chat about your background. Then, a 45-minute call with the Hiring Manager, covering your experience and some light iOS knowledge, mostly behavioral stuff. After that, you could either do a take-home assessment or a live coding session during the final stage. The final stage included one technical interview where we'd go over either the take-home or live coding, a product/design review with a PM and UI person, and then a final recap with the HM.

The interview process was a real test of patience. It started with an HR call, followed by a hiring manager call where they asked some domain knowledge questions. Then, there was a take-home assignment due by the end of the day. The onsite interview didn't require LeetCode; it was pretty easy and conversational, mainly discussing the take-home project. I mentioned to HR I was on a tight schedule due to other offers, but they didn't respond to my follow-ups. It felt like a complete waste of time, and the total compensation wasn't great. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're okay with being ghosted after investing your time.

I had an initial phone screen followed by a 1-hour interview with my potential manager. Both went okay, but the phone screen was misrepresented as it barely touched on Kubernetes and was instead about managing DevOps personnel and pipeline management. After the second call, I was expecting another interview but was completely ghosted with no feedback, which was a terrible experience. The job itself was misrepresented, and the interviewer seemed to have an immediate negative reaction to me, even though I was dressed professionally. It was explained that the company has faced significant turnover and financial difficulties.
