The interview process was a real test of patience. It started with an HR call, followed by a hiring manager call where they asked some domain knowledge questions. Then, there was a take-home assignment due by the end of the day. The onsite interview didn't require LeetCode; it was pretty easy and conversational, mainly discussing the take-home project. I mentioned to HR I was on a tight schedule due to other offers, but they didn't respond to my follow-ups. It felt like a complete waste of time, and the total compensation wasn't great. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're okay with being ghosted after investing your time.

I applied online. The first step was a test with easy video-recorded questions. Then I had a second round with two team members. The manager talked about my background and projects and asked some basic questions. A different team member posed a LeetCode medium coding question, which I solved with all test cases passing on time. I was informed that the recruiter would reach out within a few days, but I never got an email. My attempts to follow up were unsuccessful. I wouldn't recommend Blue Apron to anyone because they don't even send a rejection email, which is disrespectful of candidates' time.

I had an interview with HR. Then a technical interview with 2 senior engineers, which was a lot of fun. I was comfortable with functional programming and used JS to write my code, completing the problem in the given time. After that, I had a cultural interview with the engineering manager where we talked about coding concepts and how to complete an assignment, with no live coding. The last interview was the hardest.
