First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Baker Tilly International.
Audit Associate
The interview process had 2 rounds. The first round was a basic screening with financial questions about auditing, vouching, and the basics. The second round was with the director and felt too rude, making me uncomfortable and I panicked. They asked me very detailed questions about ledger posting, IFRS9, revenue recognition, leases, and substantive procedures.
- Can you discuss leases?
- Tell me about revenue recognition.
- How do you handle vouching and audit trails?
Staff Accountant
The process was pretty easy. The recruiter is new to the company and kept the conversation brief. They asked about my salary range and then explained the hiring process, promising feedback within 48 hours, which they delivered. I appreciate well-known companies for providing feedback.
- What is your desired salary range?
Tax Senior
I found the process to be quite fast and efficient. It took me about two weeks from start to finish until I was hired. I think it was easier than with other companies. Also, they always showed me all the details of my process, they never hid anything, and if something was missing for the position, they would have told me.
- Tell me about your experience in previous jobs.
- What is your professional career path?
Intern
It was a refreshing and casual interview experience. The interviewers were approachable and helpful, which made the whole process smooth. I really liked that they were transparent about the company's structure. It gave a good overall impression. I'd definitely recommend this interview process because it's so approachable and helpful.
