First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Baker Tilly International.
Tax Senior
I found the process to be quite fast and efficient. It took me about two weeks from start to finish until I was hired. I think it was easier than with other companies. Also, they always showed me all the details of my process, they never hid anything, and if something was missing for the position, they would have told me.

Tax Intern
Applied through school, had a talk with a director then moved on to an in person stage interview superday with associate, director, and partner. got lunch and then talked with them more and chatted about normal stuff
- Why are you interested in Tax?
- What is your interest in Baker Tilly?

Tax Associate
Started with numerical and verbal tests, using a booklet provided 10 minutes beforehand. Then there was a group exercise where we had to decide on a strategy for a made-up company. After that, a competency-based interview, and finally a partner interview where I had to present a case study. There was quite a bit of waiting between stages as they decided if I was moving on, which made the experience not great.
- Regarding your education, could you explain your choice of degree and university?
- How do your transferable skills align with the requirements of a tax role?
- Can you share an instance where you encountered and handled criticism?
