The interview had two rounds: one technical and one HR. The technical round covered basic mechanical engineering subjects like fluid mechanics, strength of materials, and theory of machines. The HR interview assessed general knowledge, aptitude, and current affairs, along with standard questions like 'Why should we hire you?'.
It was good. They focused a lot on engineering concepts and knowledge in Analog and Power Electronics. Specifically, they asked about operational amplifiers in analog and MOSFET, FET, and BJT in power electronics.
The interviewers were really friendly. The technical round was quite straightforward, covering my internship projects and my interest in the position. The HR round, however, was challenging. They asked about my core strengths and weaknesses, and I had to provide examples of when I've shown leadership skills.
