I had a phone interview with HR and then the hiring manager. After that, I went for an onsite interview which included other team members and took a whole day. I also had to give a seminar related to my previous research.
They scheduled an online interview which was straightforward, then a screening and finally an interview with the hiring manager. After that, they totally ghosted me, never responding to any follow-ups. I actually applied for a different role and had to reapply before the interview for this one. It really feels like this company is in chaos and their hiring process is a complete mess. Be cautious because they will just waste your time. That said, the people there are great and it's probably a good place to work if you can put up with the process.
The hiring process was really smooth. The talent acquisition team did an excellent job of communicating and responding to any questions I had. Interviews were scheduled quickly and at reasonable times, considering the interviewers were in three separate time zones. All interviews were conducted via video. The interviewers were really nice and immediately made me feel comfortable. Additionally, I was given a case study topic and asked to present on it, and I was given a reasonable amount of time to prepare. They were also very prompt in communicating the decision. By far, this was the best interviewing experience.
