Communications were timely, and HR kept me updated on the process, including any delays. I went through a few phone interviews and then a site visit where I met and talked with multiple people. The conversations focused on my scientific background and career goals. Overall, it seemed like a fair and thorough process.
The hiring manager asked a bunch of general questions, but didn't seem very interested in the answers. It felt like she was obligated to interview me. I answered everything correctly, but I still didn't get the job.
There were 2 interview rounds. First up was a screening with the hiring manager. Then, a panel interview with people from other teams and our own team.
