Addepar Interview Questions

I was referred by an advisor. I wanted to learn more and meet the team so I went to their office for lunch. The company was so early stage & informal at this point that I wasn't sure if this was an interview or not. The President showed me around, introduced me to a few folks and then took me into a room where he and another employee interviewed me for about an hour.

You apply online, and a recruiter will contact you shortly. They really look for competitive programming folks, so make sure to put that on your resume if you have experience. The interview would be scheduled in a week (as for fall 2014). Maybe it's because they're still a startup and don't really have a large number of applicants. I had to reschedule due to technical problems and the recruiter was friendly and rescheduled my interview. They said it'll be an interactive coding problem but it turned out to be just an initial question (no coding involved) to see what kind of thinker you are. The interview took 23 minutes.

Applied online and got an interview offer just a week later. It's my first phone interview ever, so I found it hard to communicate via phone. I messed up the series on the first question, but nailed the first easy part of the second question and then gave the later part a try, not sure if it was good enough.
