The recruiter process was straightforward; they asked about my knowledge of the company and what it does. The interview was conducted over Google Meet. I didn't receive any feedback after being rejected.
Had a 30min phone call with the recruiter. Then, portfolio reviews and a whiteboard challenge, both 45min, happened on the same day so make sure to have energy for that! Finally, a 30min interview with the hiring manager.
Applied early Oct for the Product Designer gig in NYC, and the recruiter reached out mid-Oct. Ended up being about 4-5 interviews, pretty standard for SF startups. Started with a recruiter call, then a portfolio review with a UX designer. After that, got a design challenge to do in a week, which I then presented to the Design Manager and a PM. Then there was a long 9-hour onsite in SF, and another NYC onsite after that. The interviewers were all super helpful and professional. It was a long process, but the recruiters kept things moving and made it manageable.
