Addepar Consultant interviews, decoded.

Six rounds of interviews over the course of three months. HR call, Technical interview, Behavioral interview, Case study, Product demo, and a meeting with the team lead. After I was rejected as they were looking for someone with more "technical experience." The job post was taken down and put back up two weeks later with a salary cut from $175,000 to $116,000.

So the interview process had 5 rounds. First was a recruiter call, then rounds 2 and 3 were back-to-back on the same day with a break in between. Round 2 was a behavioral call with a director. Round 3 was a technical and behavioral interview with a panel of 2 people. Round 4 involved a product simulation where I had to demo something and answer questions about how I'd implement XYZ on the platform. Finally, round 5 was a case study with a panel of 3 people.

The interview process has three main steps. First, you'll chat with a recruiter who was super helpful and gave me good advice on how to get ready. They were also quick to answer any questions I had, making me feel ready to do my best. After that, there's a meeting with a manager, and then a final round with 5 interviews.
