I applied for the Software QA role and had my first screening interview call. After clearing that, ABN AMRO gave me a web test automation assignment. I built a whole test automation framework using page object model and page factory, which took me about 3-4 days. They then emailed saying they wanted it done differently, even though they didn't specify how in the first place. I created the framework for one module of a web page and added test cases, but they didn't even let me explain it.
After I sent in my CV, cover letter, and my grades, I got picked for an assessment round. This round had a personality test and a cognitive test. A week later, they let me know I passed and was moving on to the next stage.
Before you can start, you need to obtain a certain qualification if you don't have it, and then complete a week of training. There are two interviews, which are well-prepared for. You'll find nice colleagues, all around the same age, and if you have the right team lead, the work is very enjoyable and they can help you with your development. Be aware that some colleagues might ask more of you, so make sure to speak up and learn to say NO. Don't let them walk all over you.
