Account Executive
The WWEX recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn and was very friendly. She arranged the first in-person meeting with the manager, but warned about the lack of parking. I was told to expect to pay $25 for parking, with no reimbursement. I advanced to the second stage and met with a manager who refused to turn on his camera, sounded like he was driving, and had a very casual, almost frat-bro attitude. This was a major red flag. We had a brief 5-minute chat where I was asked to walk through my resume for the third time. I was then told I would move forward, but subsequently received an email stating I would not be hired, with no explanation provided. I suggest you save your time and avoid this process.
- What is your motivation and how do you approach selling?
Enterprise Operations Specialist
You start with a recruiter call to chat about who you are. Next up, a video interview with managers, where you'll go over your career history. The final stage is an in-person meeting. This gives you a feel for the day-to-day work and a chance to meet more managers, potentially including a director.
- Can you tell me about your resume and explain your current role?
- What is your understanding of Worldwide Express?
- Are you skilled in Microsoft Excel?
Sales Representative
I first connected with this role through a recruiter and went to an interview at their Bellevue office. It went really well, and we had a good rapport discussing sports and competition. The next step was supposed to be a 'ride-along' with a salesperson to see how we'd work together. Sadly, the interviewer mentioned they'd just filled their last spot for that round earlier that day, so he couldn't move me forward. He did suggest I interview at their South Lake Union location since they had an opening, but that interview didn't go as well, and I wasn't asked to continue.
- What is your primary motivator?
- How do you stay driven during slow sales periods or push yourself when you've already hit your targets?
Inside Account Manager
I recently went through the interview process for the Inside Account Manager position in St. Louis Park, MN. My experience was great overall, and everyone was professional and really welcoming. It kicked off with a one-on-one with the team manager, lasting about an hour. The questions were pretty straightforward, and I liked that it felt like he was genuinely trying to get to know me, rather than just asking typical situational questions. The next step was my favorite part - what they called a "ride along." I spent half a day with the team, and we went out to lunch. Someone I sat with mentioned they wanted to ensure I could see myself working there and that it felt like a good fit, which I thought was awesome. The atmosphere was fun, and everyone was friendly. The office itself is cool, located near West End, with lots of games and music playing, giving off a really good energy. After that, there was a brief phone interview with a director, which was fine. The final stage involved meeting with both the manager and director, at which point I was offered the job. It was a great experience with fun people, not overly challenging, and gave a good sense of the job itself.
- What are three qualities you possess that would make you a good fit for this position?
