So I interviewed for a Contract Consultant position. There were two technical rounds first, which went pretty well. After that, there was an HR interview, which was honestly terrible. The HR person didn't even try to negotiate salary, they just told me the amount. I had to wait a whole month for them to get back to me with the same number, which was a really bad hiring experience overall. Even after I accepted their offer, the HR person revoked it literally a minute later, saying it was due to business reasons. Seriously, the most unprofessional hiring process I've ever seen.

I interviewed for a Java Developer role and had 3 rounds: technical, technical + managerial, and HR. I joined in April 2025. The first round was medium difficulty, lasted 45 mins, and covered Java, Springboot, medium coding, SQL, and my work experience. The second round lasted 1 hour. The interviewer seemed to try to shake my confidence, but it was a mix of technical (50%) and discussion (50%). The third round was a short, formal HR round (15 mins) where we discussed salary expectations. Overall, the experience was good, and the HR person was supportive. I got paid my lower bound given my 2 years of experience.

I applied in December 2024 and heard back from a recruiter about 6 weeks later for a screening call in late January. After not hearing back for two weeks, I followed up and got an invite to interview with the manager and then two senior analysts back-to-back in late February. It took another two weeks of no communication before I followed up again. Over a week later, I got an auto-generated response saying they were moving forward with other candidates. It felt like a long process with 4 interviews and a month of waiting without updates to reach that decision.

The interview process was pretty standard to begin with. Started with a 30-minute phone screen where we talked about my resume and some basic questions about my interest in the job and the company. They scheduled another round of interviews for the very next day. That's when things got a little weird. I had two back-to-back 30-minute virtual interviews with a manager and the hiring manager. They mostly talked about themselves and how much they love the company, and I barely got to speak after the first 3 minutes. In the last of these interviews, I asked a question about the position, but they went off-topic for 15 minutes, and then our time was up. Despite all that, I got scheduled for a final interview with the head of the department the following week. This last interview was the complete opposite of the others. I was grilled on technical accounting concepts that didn't even seem related to the job I applied for. After that, I never heard back, even after following up multiple times.
