I applied online. Their application system is old, buggy, and likely two decades old. It forces manual data entry. You can upload only one resume, and each time you apply for a position, it uses your latest resume for all previous applications. This means if you tailor resumes for specific jobs, you might mess up older applications. I submitted five carefully prepared applications before realizing weeks later they had all been overwritten.

It started with a one-way video screen with behavioral questions. After that, there was a video interview with HR. If HR liked you, your application was sent to hiring managers for review. If they selected you, you'd go to the final interview round at HQ in Herndon. The final interview was two days long. Day one included lunch, a company overview, a group case study activity, and a cocktail reception with hiring managers. Day two was all about panel interviews. A big downside is how long it takes, but it's understandable given the huge number of applications. The process is really great though - HR does a fantastic job of keeping you updated, meeting timeline dates early, and answering questions. The group case study was pretty quick - 45 minutes to analyze data and create a PP presentation on one computer in a group of 6-8 people. Then, you present to the group and hiring managers for 5 minutes. Overall, it was pretty easy but hectic, and you have to show your teamwork and presentation skills in a short time. The panel interview was super relaxed - maybe because I met the interviewers the night before at the cocktail reception. The interviewers were great, kept things light, but still asked some tough questions.
