The interview process here is quite lengthy, which I've joked with the recruiter about. It could definitely be shortened if interviewers shared responsibilities, as it takes a long time to assess someone's expertise. Despite many companies moving away from them, over 10 algorithm questions were asked throughout the process. On a positive note, most interviewers were very pleasant and easy to talk to. However, there was one interviewer who rapid-fired C# trick questions without feedback, missing an opportunity for deeper discussion on language intricacies. Other interviewers were great. It seems like a good team to join, but be ready for a process that's longer than necessary for a role that doesn't pay competitively for the required skill level.

The interview process started with an HR call, then a technical interview. If you pass that, there's a potential super day which consists of two more rounds. I have to say, the technical interviewer was honestly the rudest person I've ever encountered in any firm. I really got the feeling she had already decided to reject me before the interview even began. She didn't even introduce herself, asked follow-up questions in a strange manner, and made odd comments on everything I said. It was a really terrible experience. On top of that, she was the interviewer I ended up with after the firm had to reschedule, so I guess I was just unlucky.

Started with an online assessment, then a call with HR. After that, there was a technical screen, followed by a virtual superday which included three technical rounds. The interviewers were really nice. The technical rounds really dug into my resume before asking probability and EV questions.

The process kicked off with an online Python test, which I aced with a perfect score. Following that, I had a brief 20-minute HR chat that included a couple of brain-teaser questions, and it seemed to go fine. The last step was a full hour interview where we dove deep into my resume and previous work. Honestly, the whole process felt a bit all over the place, and I think something got lost in translation during the final interview, because when I talked about my past job applications, they seemed to think I wasn't keen on this role.
