My interview experience was quite poor. The interviewer focused on extracting confidential information about my previous roles rather than assessing my actual skills. They asked very specific details about my past trading strategies. Afterward, I got a generic email stating I wasn't a good fit. I'd suggest companies focus on developing their own strategies instead of trying to obtain proprietary information from candidates.

The interview process was really informative and constructive. The interviewer was nice and calm. It was one of the more positive experiences I've had after being reached out to, though it was certainly difficult. You should prepare thoroughly and be ready for variations of problems.

I completed an online assessment, then had a phone interview with HR. Unfortunately, I didn't pass the interview with the Quantitative Researcher. The questions they asked, based on my CV, were a bit all over the place. I heard from the headhunter that this company, even though they're interviewing a lot of people, doesn't really have open headcount and only hires about one or two people per year.

  • Some questions related to my CV and some probabilistic questions were asked.
