The interview process was quick, smooth, and felt comfortable. It started with 2 phone calls, then moved to 2 Zoom interviews with the creative leads. The interviewers were great people, very personable, and they made sure to spend time getting to know me and see if the job was a good match for my current skill level.

They initially said there would be three interview rounds, but it ended up being four pretty long calls, which I actually enjoyed. HR let me know I got the job a few days later, and I quit my current role to make sure everything went smoothly. But then, a few days after that, they pulled the offer, saying business needs had changed. It was a close call to being jobless because of this whole situation, but luckily I found something else pretty quickly. Overall, the whole thing lacked transparency and consistency. They claimed the role wasn't in demand anymore, but I've seen the same job posted on LinkedIn since. It's giving off some serious red flags about Vayner.

I applied for the Media Analyst Resident job and went to their assessment centre. They said they would reimburse travel costs, which they kept highlighting, but never did, even after I followed up multiple times. After putting in time, money, and effort to prepare and travel for the day, I was told I would hear back within a week. It's been way longer and they've completely ghosted me. No feedback, no updates, just silence. For a company that claims to be empathetic and have a human-centered culture, this was the total opposite. The atmosphere at the assessment centre felt forced. It seemed fake and superficial, with people trying to talk over each other instead of really working together. I went in feeling hopeful and left disappointed. VaynerMedia talks a lot about their values, but they don't actually live by them. Applicants deserve better than being used for free work, ghosted, and ignored.
