Applied online and heard back in about a week to set up a phone screening with a recruiter. It was mostly about my background, why I'm interested in this job, and my availability. The recruiter was nice and gave me a good intro to the company and the team. A few days after that, I got an invite for a second video interview with the hiring manager. This one was more technical and about the specifics of the role, like my experience with [insert tools/systems], how I solve problems, and some what-if scenarios related to [key responsibility]. The last part was a panel interview with two people from the team and a leader. They asked stuff about how I've dealt with conflict at work, how I decide what to do first, and how I handle working with other departments.

So I applied online and then had a phone screen, then an in-person interview with the team, and then another in-person interview with the person I would be supporting. I thought it was a really good process at first, like they asked good questions and everyone was engaging. But then things got weird at the offer stage. I applied in August and interviewed before September. Then I got a rejection saying they went with other people. That was fine, but then like two months later, they called me and offered me the job! They said they had trouble finding people. Then I asked for time to think about it, and they wanted me to call back the next day. I did, and I asked about salary and start date because I had another offer. Then, like 48 hours later, they just rescinded the offer for no reason and didn't give me the info I asked for. They need to fix their offer process and be clearer about pay and stuff. Also, don't say you couldn't find anyone, it sounds bad.
