Got a message from a recruiter on Linkedin. Then had 2 more interviews, one with the team and another with people who would report to me. It was pretty chill, no pressure and no tasks to do beforehand. I got an update in less than a week.

So, I had 4 interviews and they all went great. But then, a senior person who was invited to the previous interviews suddenly had a problem with how one of my references scored me. Apparently, they use this subjective scale to gauge your ability, and it's pretty tricky. Based on that, after I had already worked with them for 6 weeks, they decided I wasn't a good fit.
