So I had this interview at Valuemomentum. It was like three rounds total. First off, two technical rounds and then one with HR. The first tech round was all about basic Java stuff, and it felt pretty solid and on point. But the second tech round? It went way deeper, asking about advanced Java topics and how to actually solve problems. I didn't get through that round, but hey, it was a good chance to learn. The people interviewing were cool, and the whole thing ran smoothly. They were clear in how they communicated, which I liked. If you're going for this, make sure you really know your Java internals, collections, and coding, because they're looking for solid skills.

So I had 3 rounds of interviews for this Business Analyst role. The first two rounds were focused on my domain knowledge and past experience. Then there was a face-to-face interview to assess my fit for the team. I passed all three, which took about 3 weeks. After that, they told me the position was on hold. They kept delaying it for about a week at a time. Finally, they scheduled an HR round. The HR person started negotiating the salary like at a market. They brought up the budget at the beginning, and then in the HR round, they offered a package lower than my previous salary. The HR tried to make me accept a low package, even though they seemed to have the budget. They used various tactics to get me to accept a lower salary. I declined the offer because the budget they initially mentioned didn't align with the salary they offered after I cleared all three interview rounds and waited for five weeks.

Don't bother interviewing with ValueMomentum. They'll tell you you've passed everything, then talk salary like they're doing you a favor. Once you agree on a final package, they'll say you'll get an offer letter in a few days and then ghost you. When you follow up, they won't respond. If you escalate, HR will cover for the hiring team and call you a liar, saying you never agreed to any compensation. Their communication is terrible, they don't respect your time, and they never give you a clear update on what's next. They're all about fake promises. Seriously, don't waste your time. I wasted 45 days waiting for them to follow through on their promises. They lack basic professionalism; they won't even tell you they found someone cheaper after promising you an offer letter. I was an idiot for interviewing with them even after reading similar reviews, so please don't make the same mistake.

They are looking for an angular frontend developer. In the interview, starting it was informed that I have basic knowledge in JavaScript. But they were asking JavaScript related questions like writing a palindrome and removing duplicates from an array. I think the interviewer might not have realized they were interviewing for this specific role. They should have asked relative technology questions. Maybe in their angular projects, they implement palindrome and remove duplicates through the UI only, and don't handle it through the backend to filter duplicate values.
