First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tiger Analytics.
Data Engineer
My interview at Tiger Analytics was great. The interviewer was really nice and made me feel comfortable, like we were just chatting. They asked about SQL, data engineering basics, and my projects. They seemed more interested in how I've used these skills in real situations than in super hard theory questions. It was a smooth, friendly, and comfortable interview overall. I liked their professional and kind approach.

Power BI Data Engineer
The interview process was centered around my current skills and was pretty interesting, but the interviewer was the main issue. He seemed like he came from a startup and recently joined Tiger, and he was constantly showing off. He kept bringing up things like 'how did you handle your team,' 'this can be done in 10 seconds,' and 'in Tiger we do this, we do that.' These bragging sentences weren't professional at all. I finished the entire interview to get a sense of their internal culture, which they project externally as a great, employee-friendly environment.
- Tell me about how you managed your team.
- Explain how this task could be completed in just 10 seconds.
- Describe how things are done at Tiger, like 'we do this' and 'we do that'.
Senior Consultant
The interview process was good, they asked questions based on my CV and projects I worked on. The overall difficulty was intermediate. They also asked programming questions of moderate difficulty. For the CPG domain, they asked questions about pricing elasticity and promo models.

Analyst Trainee
The interview process involved three rounds. The first round focused on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) and SQL, with questions similar to LeetCode easy level. The second round was a quantitative assessment, covering puzzles, machine learning algorithms, and related concepts, which could be quite challenging. Finally, the third round was an HR interview, which was relatively straightforward.
