Analyst
So, the interview process started with an online test. After that, I had Technical Interview 1, which mostly covered DSA, DBMS, and my projects. He asked about linked list and array concepts, then wanted me to code reversing an array and checking for palindromes. He also asked me to count letter frequencies in a string. For DBMS, he asked SQL commands from basic to intermediate. Then came Technical Interview 2, focusing on projects, Machine Learning, and DSA. He inquired about various ML algorithms and went deeper into their concepts, followed by questions like anagrams and next permutations. After that, we discussed my projects. Finally, there was an HR Round with common HR questions.
- Could you explain the basics of machine learning?
- As I'm answering your questions, you are asking more advanced questions related to machine learning.

They mailed me to start the process and invited me for a test. After that, there were 3 rounds of interviews. The first was a hackerrank test with 2 DSA questions (one easy, one medium) and 7-8 ML MCQs. The second and third rounds were video interviews focusing on Python problem-solving and Pandas. The first round went great, but I couldn't solve the problems to the interviewer's satisfaction in the second round. They said it was a skill mismatch because my background was in OpenCV. Later, they offered a different role with a start date in one month, but my notice period was 3 months, so I couldn't accept.
- Solve the buy and sell stock problem (easy)
- Answer two additional questions related to Pandas
- Answer two DSA questions, one easy and one medium
Programme Analyst
Resume screening was used for shortlisting. Then, two technical interviews were conducted. No managerial or HR interviews were part of the process.
- How would you sort an array based on element frequency?
- Can you reverse the elements of a string while keeping their order intact?
