First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Borgen Project.
Political Affairs Specialist
The interview process was very easy and light, it was more of a conversation than an interview, asking why I fit in with the Borgen Project and what inspires me about their mission.
- What motivates you regarding our mission?
Writer Intern
The process was pretty straightforward. First, they had me do a writing test so I could show off my skills, like an interview or an article. Once they looked at that and I passed, I then went on to have an interview.
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself, your background, and your interests?
Public Affairs Intern
I interviewed with a really nice and friendly HR lady over Zoom. It was a super relaxed and informal chat, so I didn't feel nervous at all. I actually spent about half the time asking her questions, which she was happy to answer. Since she was in HR, she couldn't really get into the technical stuff. She gave me positive feedback right after and then emailed me the next day to offer me the job.
- Can you tell me about the Borgen Project and explain why you are interested in working with us?
Marketing Intern
The whole process was super quick. They actually get back to everyone who applies. My interviewer was really nice and it wasn't intimidating at all. They mainly talked about the positions I applied for and asked which one I felt I would be best suited for. Then they let me know their decision in just two days.
- In what ways are you suited for this position?
