The application and interview process was really simple and easy to follow. I applied by sending my resume and a writing sample. Within a week, the hiring manager reached out and said I was a strong candidate, which made me happy since I'm a college student with limited experience. They then asked me to do a writing skills test, which was basically writing an article about a topic similar to what I'd write if I got the internship. I had 48 hours for this. After I sent in my article, they contacted me after 4 days to schedule an interview. The Zoom interview was straightforward and only lasted about 15 minutes, with no surprising questions. Overall, it was a good experience.

If you spend lots of time on the organization's website and really know the organization inside out, then the interview will be really easy. It's obvious they just want to weed out those who are clueless about the cause and hire people who are passionate about making a difference.

Had a few questions about my experience and to outline the project. They asked about global poverty and why I want to join their organization specifically. Nothing was too hard and the interviewer was very friendly. Overall, it was one of the better interviews I've had with a company looking for an intern.
