I applied for a job in the Netherlands and got called twice for personal details. After I gave them everything, they sent me another form with the same info, which didn't make much sense. I asked about basic stuff like salary, contract, vacation, and moving help, but they were super vague. They kept texting and calling instead of emailing. Then, after I emailed asking for clarity, they texted saying I wouldn't get an interview. It felt really unprofessional and not transparent at all.

Got shortlisted to the top 30 for an online assessment (OA). Then traveled to another college in Noida for the OA. The OA had 25 MCQs covering CS fundamentals and aptitude, and I solved 3 out of 4 DSA questions on HackerEarth. After that, I was shortlisted for interviews which were held face-to-face the very next day at the same college in Noida.

You'll be contacted by Randstad first. Then, there's a phone interview, followed by a remote interview. After that, you'll have an interview with your potential supervisor (remotely). Sometimes, if your supervisor isn't your department head, there's another interview with the department head. All interviews except the first one (which is a basic filter) include a segment where you speak English. They'll also ask about your studies or experience and really value your social skills.

  • Tell me about your educational background.
  • What languages are you proficient in?
  • What is your knowledge of [a subject relevant to the role]?
