Applied online, then did an online video interview that included math and reasoning tests. After that, I got invited to a virtual assessment center where I could pick a date. There were about 14 people there, and we were split into 2 groups for a task. We were given scenarios and had to decide on the best options and then present our choices. Following that, there was a one-on-one interview where the questions were provided beforehand. The people and assessors were really nice, and the whole experience was quite calm and pleasant.

I had a bad interview experience with Thales for the ISR Air division at their Crawley location. The interview was supposed to be an hour, but one of the interviewers spent most of the time asking really specific technical questions that I don't think show true ability and could be learned later. She didn't let the other interviewer ask much, and it felt more like an interrogation than a casual chat. They didn't seem interested in me as a person, which was off-putting because I think it's important who you work with. To top it off, one of the interviewers actually laughed at me when I asked a question at the end – it was really rude and dismissive. I wouldn't want to work there now, even if they offered me the job, because the people are just as important as the technical skills.
