First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Techolution.
Associate Data Engineer
So the interview process was in a few stages. First was L1, which was a technical interview done by HR. Then L2, which was a 45-minute technical interview with a technical person. L3 was another technical round, but the questions felt like they were for someone with 5+ years of experience, even though the role was for 1+ years. Surprisingly, in my first company interview experience, not a single question about SQL query, PySpark query, or Databricks was asked.
- Can you list the last 10 versions of the Delta architecture and explain their differences?
- I have a 1TB data table that gets new data daily. It has no watermark, timestamp, or unique ID. How would you incrementally sync this data to SQL Server once a day?
- Once incremental data is in a SQL Server staging table, how do you load it into the main table without locking, downtime, or performance issues?
DevOps Engineer
The interview process was good, and the questions were based on real-world scenarios. I really enjoyed the video resume section, and the platform provided was excellent. The interview went well and they asked questions based on real-world scenarios. I really loved the video resume section and the platform was very good.
- Can you explain Docker and its components?

- Tell me about your project.
Generative AI Engineer
So basically, there was a screening round, then a technical round with an employee, then another with a team lead, and finally, the HR round, like we talked about. I did the technical round, and they asked basic DSA questions on arrays, which I totally nailed. But the issue was the interviewer, a junior associate with maybe a year of experience as an Associate AI Engineer on the team. It just felt weird that inexperienced people would interview candidates who are way more experienced in the corporate world. This guy was supposed to decide if I moved on. I don't get why they let freshers interview people. I answered all the questions about my past projects, solved the DSA stuff, and everything technical they threw at me in Python. I thought it went great, but then I found out this fresher called me 'inexperienced' even after I answered everything? The interviewer even said the interview went well and we discussed where I'd fit best. It's a waste of people's time, especially when they take leave for interviews. This isn't campus hiring where you can drag things out and call people experienced. Oh, and the HR mentioned the role was only for male candidates, which is super biased. My female friend who applied got her call cut short and was told she was rejected for being female.

AI/ML Engineer
Man, this company's interview process was a total drag, lasted 4 weeks and involved 4 rounds that needed a ton of prep. I crushed all the interviews, got no negative feedback, and thought I nailed it. But then, after all that work, they hit me with a lame excuse: their client paused hiring because of no projects. Seriously? They could have told me way sooner instead of wasting my time. And get this, it took them days to even give me that update, showing zero respect for my time. What's even more annoying is their big talk during the interviews. They brag about not negotiating salaries 'cause they pay the 'best packages' and only hire 'top talent.' But surprise, surprise, they ended up going with less qualified people who took way less money. Clearly, they don't know what they're doing, and their words don't match their actions. This place seems clueless, poorly run, and directionless. If they treat candidates like this, I can't even imagine what it's like working there.
- Can you explain ML fundamentals?
- What about LLM fundamentals?
- Tell me about high level ML concepts.
