Software Engineer
So, the interview process started with a hackathon held at the company office. Only the teams that did really well in the hackathon got to move forward to the next stage. They also had a technical assessment happening on campus at the same time, but honestly, nobody got selected from that. All the hiring actually happened through the hackathon.
- Can you walk me through the projects detailed on your resume?
Software Engineer
I passed the L1 and L2 rounds where the interviewer seemed unsure of the solutions to the Leetcode questions they posed. I've been practicing Leetcode consistently for over a month. In the L3 round, I was interviewed by a senior developer who had less experience than me. This interviewer struggled with conducting the interview and was quite frustrating, constantly shifting their requirements after I solved the problems. Despite solving everything, their explanation of their approach was amusing and confusing. The HR representative was very pleasant and helpful throughout the entire process. I have experience conducting interviews myself and building strong teams, and I'm confident I approach candidate selection more effectively than this interviewer, whose methods seemed more like showing off than genuine evaluation. Notably, no questions about my development experience, achievements, or projects were asked.
- Just do Leetcode, they only know how to copy paste the question from there.
Software Development Engineer Intern
First round was two leetcode problems. Second round was a project discussion and some resume questions.
- Solve the sum of three numbers problem.
- Implement a parenthesis checker.
- Could you describe a project you have worked on?
