SEO Specialist
My experience with this SEO specialist role was quite bad. I made it all the way to the technical interview and met all the requirements, but then got an email saying I was rejected for a 'small detail' with no real explanation. It felt super unprofessional and frustrating because there was no useful feedback or clear reason given. The whole thing started back in May when they first reached out, and it took like 1.5 months between my first and second interviews! Overall, it was a terrible experience. Given my 7 years in the field, I wouldn't recommend this company.
- They asked me to do a full business case project, which I did, but then they just said it was a 'small detail' without any further feedback, which I thought was unconstructive.
Sales Engineer
The interview process was pretty bad and unprofessional, I must say, by initials M S. They asked me a bunch of personal questions that really aren't appropriate for a job interview, like if I'm married, how many people are in my family, and other private stuff that has nothing to do with the job or my skills. It made me feel really uncomfortable and I started wondering about how this company hires people and if they even know about employment guidelines. My advice for the management is to please check your interview procedures and make sure all questions asked are fair, relevant to the job, and respect the candidate's privacy. Asking these kinds of personal questions can leave a bad impression about the company's professionalism.
- What is your marital status and do you have a partner, and if so, how frequently do you see them?
- What is the size of your family?
- What is your current age?
IoT Cybersecurity Engineer
So I interviewed on Friday, January 17th, 2025, with Joe Lomako and Jon Lea, and it went really well, like, for an hour. They seemed super into my background and experience. They even mentioned a face-to-face interview coming up and told me to prep a PowerPoint presentation for something called EN 18031. They also shared company location details, so I thought it was a strong connection. But then, radio silence for two weeks. Finally, HR messaged me saying, 'We've been lucky to get tons of applications and a really strong candidate pool, so we've filled the position.' Honestly, that communication felt unprofessional and lacking transparency, especially after they seemed so interested. It would have been better to manage expectations with clearer and faster updates.
- Can you describe how you implement security protocols in IoT?
- What are your thoughts on the technical questions regarding my experience?
Cyber Security Analyst
A chat with TÜV Süd, a big global company for testing, inspection, certification, and consulting, is usually pretty by-the-book and organized. They want to see if you've got the right technical skills, soft skills, and if you'd fit in. Here's a heads-up on what to expect during the interview process.
