First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Simplilearn Solutions.
DevOps Engineer
So, I went through 3 technical rounds, then a face-to-face interview, and finally spoke with an HRBP. They said the feedback was great and asked for onboarding documents, which I sent. But then, things got weird. The HR person went silent for days. When I finally got hold of them, they said I was the only one selected and they were just waiting for internal approval for the offer, telling me not to take other jobs. I waited another week with no word. Then, out of nowhere, I got a badly edited rejection email. It was super disappointing and felt disrespectful of my time. The whole HR part of the process was really unprofessional, with no clear communication or transparency. It left a bad impression of Simplilearn's hiring.

Learner Success Manager
It's a 3-round process. First, an interview with the Manager, where they ask questions about technical stuff. Second, a chat with the Program Coordinator about why and your motive to join the company. Third, an HR Round to discuss terms and conditions and salary.
- Tell me about your knowledge of Python and other technical subjects.
- What is your motivation for joining our company?
- Can you explain the terms and conditions and discuss salary expectations?
Director of Student Experience
I started back in April 2025, and there were like 5 rounds or more. In July, I got a verbal offer over email and zoom, but then they ghosted me when I countered. After a bunch of tries to get in touch, they finally told me they went with someone internal. The interviews were with: 1. A recruiter for a screening call, 2. Two people who report to the person in this role, 3. The hiring manager, 4. The company founder, and 5. The Head of HR.
- Can you provide an instance where a decision you made led to better student results?
Learning Designer
The whole interview process lasted about a month, and I still haven't gotten any final feedback or email. HR was slow in responding to everything from their end. One interviewer even missed the interview without notice, so we had to reschedule last minute. I also felt like one of the interviewers was quite rude. Overall, it was a pretty bad experience with Simplilearn.
- Can you explain CRUD?
- What is dynamic dispatch and can you explain it?
- Do you have a real-life example for explicit type casting?
