It was a 3-round process. The first two rounds were technical interviews, one with a senior manager and another with a director. The final round was with HR to discuss salary. Overall, it was an average interview experience, and you mainly need to know about YouTube.

Even though this Edutech company is huge, their HR is really bad. They don't value merit, it's all about who referred you and how high up they are. They interview you, give you assignments, say they're good, and then make you wait forever, only to hire someone with an internal referral. They won't even tell you if the job's filled. My experience with Simplilearn's interview was just a waste of time.

I initially applied for a Content Writer role after seeing the job posting and reaching out directly. The HR was responsive up until the interview day. The interview process itself seemed to have about 3 to 4 steps. My initial application wasn't successful because of issues with my sentence structure. They later contacted me twice for similar roles, and since I was looking for a backup job, I decided to proceed. There's a senior person on the team, described as quite intimidating, who expects candidates to be extremely courteous and possess an in-depth knowledge of the company. Although I applied for Content Writing, they considered me for Content Marketing and expected extensive knowledge of marketing principles and strategies. One question particularly stumped me, and after that, I wasn't very motivated to continue. The question was about the company, and given my reservations about the ethics of selling education, I decided to withdraw. About a month later, the HR called again for a Content Writing position, almost persuading me that this role was exactly what I wanted and not part of that other team. However, by then, I had received better offers and declined.
