The interview process was very positive, with nice and helpful people. There were two rounds of interviews with the team. The first round was mainly a discussion about me and my background. In the second round, I primarily asked questions. Even though I didn't get an offer, it was still a good experience.

HR pre-screen took about an hour, then there was a 1-hour GSC meeting, followed by a meeting with the wider team. The process also included an in-person brief-writing session. HR was very responsive and helpful in scheduling meetings. I didn't like the in-person session because I had to take time off work.

So, for the Web Developer role, the interview was pretty thorough. First, I sent in my resume and portfolio, showing off my frontend and backend stuff. They liked it and I got through the initial screening because of my skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Node.js. Then came an online coding test where I had to do things like make a responsive layout, fix some JavaScript bugs, and connect to an API with fetch. After that, there was a technical interview where we talked about REST APIs, how React components work, using hooks for state, and routing with Express. I also showed them a project I had on GitHub. Finally, there was a quick HR chat about working with others, solving problems, managing my time, and meeting deadlines. I also mentioned how I use Git and Trello. After all that, they offered me the internship, saying they liked my problem-solving and project experience.

It might start with a quick call or video chat to see if you're a good match. Then, you'll need to show off your writing chops and creative stuff with your portfolio. Finally, you might have interviews, either one-on-one or with a group, with people on the team to talk about your experience, skills, and if you'd fit in.
