Got contacted by the branch manager for an initial interview. Then had a second interview with the Regional Manager for that specific Line of Business. After that, I spoke with the branch manager again and also a peer manager from a different branch.

I had three Zoom calls, one with a recruiter, one with the manager, and then one with a VP. Each of these calls lasted between 45 and 90 minutes. After that, I had to complete a writing assessment and a personality assessment. The final step was an in-person lunch with one of the executives. The whole thing took about two and a half weeks, and they were pretty chill about scheduling.

So, like another reviewer, I’m a woman of color and it seemed like they were hiring for a mid-level role. A recruiter messaged me on LinkedIn, and after I said I was interested, we set up a call. He was really nice and helpful, especially when we talked about pay. He actually told me I was asking for less than they had budgeted and put me in for more, which I really appreciated. Then, I had an interview a few days later with the person who would be my direct supervisor. It went well and was very informative. They talked a lot about the company culture and how great it is. Right after, the recruiter called me for a quick rundown of how the interview went. He then set up a third interview with a content writer and a graphic designer. This one was super awkward; the two women didn't seem to know much about social media or the role itself. One kept fiddling with her hair while looking up questions. At the end, she mentioned her husband was also job hunting and started talking about that, which I thought was totally irrelevant. A few days later, the recruiter called again for another rundown. He mentioned there were still three more interviews to go, with the VP and CEO, I think. Honestly, it sounded like way too many interviews for this job, but I was willing to go through with it and didn't say anything. But then, I never heard back from them.

They went over my resume with me and asked about my past experiences. They also asked about what I consider my strengths and weaknesses. It felt like a really helpful and personal conversation. They offered me the job and matched me with a contract role about a day or two later. Before they asked if I wanted to interview with the company, they told me what the company was looking for. I said yes, and they gave me some tips on how to do well in the interview. I then had a phone interview with the hiring manager. A few hours after that, the agency called to say they wanted me, told me about the pay and hours, and then asked if I would accept the job offer.
