The interview process was pretty standard, starting with an initial interview, then a chat with the hiring manager, and then maybe meeting the team. What was different about Roofr was how professional and honest they were. Other places I've interviewed, feedback was late, sometimes weeks, and sometimes I heard nothing back. I've even had recruiters book calls and then not show up. As a parent, I have to plan my schedule carefully, so taking time off for an interview means moving other things around. It's important to be respected and reliable. Roofr, on the other hand, gave me feedback in the exact two business days they said they would. When I asked how I could do better, Andrii gave me really helpful and detailed advice. The feedback was clear and honest, showing me where I fell short but also pointing out my strengths. It didn't make me feel bad, but helped me figure out how to improve and be a better candidate. This kind of openness and respect shows a lot about the company culture and how they treat people, no matter if they get the job. Honestly, this interview process feels like a waste of time. Even if you give it your all, they seem unlikely to hire you, and you won't get any feedback afterward. I answered every question, and the hiring manager acted impressed, only to reject me without explanation. I emailed for feedback, but no one responded. It was an awful experience, and I suspect there might be some prejudice involved.

The Senior Leadership Team (SLT) interview was the week after that, and I got an offer two days later. The whole thing took less than two weeks. Roofr seems to value candidates who know their worth and are up-to-date with the market. The interviewers were professional and nice, and it's clear they're very selective about who they hire.

If I had to pick one thing, maybe exploring ways to speed up the interview timeline a bit more could be good—things went smoothly, but even small tweaks could make a great process even better.
