The interview experience at Roofr is pretty transparent, engaging, and supportive, unlike many in the SaaS world. Every step felt thought out and structured to see if it was a good fit for both sides. It really shows their culture, which is all about working together, growing, and being real. What makes Roofr special is how they focus on their people first. The questions they asked weren't just about skills, but also dug into personal motivations and values – they genuinely wanted to know candidates better than just what was on paper. It felt human and values-focused. The stages were: Initial Screening – a friendly and insightful intro to the company's vibe and what they expect. Role-Specific Interview – a chat about skills, past work, and how you could contribute. Pilot Project – a practical assignment to show what you can do. Team Panel – a group chat with team members that gave a real feel for Roofr's inclusive and supportive culture. Final Leadership Alignment – a last talk to make sure you're on board with the company's goals and future plans. They communicated clearly, on time, and respectfully, making it a positive experience all around. If you're thinking about working at Roofr, this interview process shows they truly care about their people and are building a strong team focused on their mission.

The interview process was set up as potentially four 1-hour calls with different people in the company. It also included a role-playing exercise where I had to act as an onboarding specialist. While I was comfortable with this because I've done this job before, I thought it might be a bit much for someone without prior experience in this specific industry. I got the feeling the recruiter was more curious about competitive information from my previous employer than about my actual qualifications, based on the questions they asked. I also thought the salary offered was too high to be realistic and was likely just a way to encourage me to attend more interviews and share more competitor insights.

The interview process was really great, they made me feel comfortable and kept me informed the whole time. The talent acquisition team was super organized and efficient. The interviews were a good mix of formal and relaxed questions, which allowed my personality to show and also get to know the interviewers. Everyone I met at Roofr was nice, knew their stuff, was respectful, and just plain fun to talk to. Honestly, it was a 10/10 recruitment experience!
