Had a phone screen with HR, then a virtual interview with the hiring manager where I was asked some personality and technical questions. This was followed by final interviews with the director and VP of the department, which were mostly personality questions and background checks.

The internal recruiter from HR rescheduled three times after the interview was supposed to start. I messaged him 10-15 minutes into the meeting. He blamed it on "tarrif planning" for the business. It's unclear what HR would have to do with tariffs. Two of the interviews were while I was travelling internationally, so I was taking the call at 8PM local time, which the recruiter was aware of. I was happy to take the call internationally, but I've never experienced such a complete lack of decorum and professionalism from a "reputable" company for a senior level role.

The marketing hiring process was a challenging one. It began with a warm introduction to the team, then we had an in-depth discussion about my past marketing experiences and skills. The questions about my market understanding and strategies were thought-provoking. Lastly, talking about my motivation and how I'd fit with the company was insightful and let me show my enthusiasm for the role.
