Worst interview process I've ever been through. Totally disrespectful to the candidate, I can understand now why Revlon has so many bad reviews from current employees on Glassdoor. It all started well with normal phone screens, interviews, and meeting interesting people. It was a very long process though. I had the last interview in NY (traveled from another State), they paid for my flights and hotel, and they sent me a reimbursement form for transportation (taxi). After this final interview, the recruiter told me everything went great and I would hear back with the final decision next week with "probably good news". Next week came and they asked me to have an extra interview with the Marketing President (after 7 interviews with 7 different people like Senior Brand Managers, Directors, Brand Managers). I found this weird because I'm at the bottom of the pyramid, why would a president want to interview an associate brand manager? Maybe they don't trust their employees' decisions in new hires? This interview took 3 weeks to get scheduled, when I finally had it via Skype, she talked to me for less than 15 minutes. Very rude and not interested in what I was saying (I can understand because I don't know why she was interviewing me in the first place!?) After that... radio silence for one month. After several follow-up emails, I ended up knowing that I did not get the job because another person that I know from the company told me so. I emailed them to ask for my transportation money and they told me they were not going to reimburse me that even though they told me they were going to do it... Very bad experience and I'm happy I am not working there.

Revlon is trying to hire a new marketing team because a lot of people didn't want to move from San Diego to Jacksonville. It seemed like they did the same with their HR team too, because the person I talked to wasn't very professional, organized, or knowledgeable about the industry, which was disappointing. If you're interviewing for a job in Jacksonville, know your value. It's a shame that big companies in fashion and beauty still think it's okay to underpay people. Don't let them offer you a low salary; they will try. Once you get the job, I promise, the job and the company aren't that great, not even for Jacksonville. You can find something better.
