This was the most professional interview process that I’ve had the pleasure of taking part in! The RBI talent team was very communicative along the way, letting me know exactly where I was in the process at all times. They were also able to expedite the process for me, as I was in the final round of candidates for another role and wanted to be able to compare both if both offers came through. The interview process was multi stage: -Initial phone call with the talent team -Video call with the hiring manager -3 in person final interviews as follows: -With the team I would be working with, as a culture fit check -With the People and Business team, for more typical interview questions -With the VP of Design and Architecture and the Director of Design and Architecture (the hiring manager)

The RBI interview process is quite thorough and structured, with about 5 to 7 interviews over 3 weeks to 1.5 months. HR is really supportive, answers all questions, gives updates, and makes sure you understand the role. Manager and leadership interviews aren't meant to trick you; they ask straightforward behavioral questions about who you are, how you think, and how you handle real situations, looking for cultural and operational fit, not canned answers. It's a professional, human, transparent hiring experience designed to ensure the right decision for both sides.

RBI is currently very disorganized and seems to be on a hiring freeze. I was contacted late in the evening and asked to interview immediately. I had an interview with the manager and then a third interview with a team member. Typically, RBI has 5 rounds, but this time they went silent, and HR never responded despite my follow-ups. The company eventually got back two months later to say the position has been put on hold. This isn't surprising, as it's the third time in two years I've interviewed with them and had the exact same experience.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

My interview journey began with a call from a recruiter who was super professional and made me feel really interested in RBI and Popeyes. Then I had a video chat with my future boss, the VP, who has an amazing career path and seemed really knowledgeable. After that, I met with his boss, the Chief Development Officer. I told the recruiter I had other offers, and she managed the timeline really well to keep everyone in the loop. I was impressed by the CDO's vision and wanted to be part of it. Next, I talked to HR, and they were direct with their questions and very open about the company culture, which was great. Then, I interviewed with a colleague from the real estate team. She was so warm and skilled, it felt like we'd worked together for ages, and it showed me the high quality of people at RBI. While waiting for the offer, I noticed they really tried to work with my schedule, which I appreciated. The whole process was more polished and organized than other places I interviewed with, very smooth, engaging, and thoughtful. I'm really happy to be part of this team now.
