The interview process was pretty standard. I first got some emails from HR. Then, there was a phone screen that focused on culture and my general fit for the role. After that, I had a virtual meeting on camera with the lead of the department. The communication throughout was great, and everyone I talked to was really respectful and attentive during the whole thing.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was pretty standard, involving discussions about my previous roles and my experience with Shopify and data analytics. The recruiter then questioned my background as a small business owner in a way that felt quite dismissive. After she noticed my entrepreneurial background, she seemed to lose interest and wrapped up the interview. This really didn't sit well with me, as it felt like everyone I spoke with was unhappy in their roles and wasn't being genuine.

I had an initial good interview experience with the hiring manager and passed the first round. But then the role got put on hold because they were figuring out the exact job duties. A month later, I saw on LinkedIn they were hiring for the same role again and they didn't even tell me. I emailed them for feedback on why they didn't move forward with me, but got no response. My recruiter said they were ‘reluctant to share feedback.’ It was super unprofessional and lacked communication and respect.

I don't really remember the interview process since it was a year ago. They were opening a new store at South Coast Plaza and hiring. I got the offer not long after interviewing, but the interviewer was hard to reach, taking weeks for a response about training or my start date. The training itself was on hold because the trainer was on vacation. I kept applying elsewhere because of the delays. It was a hectic time for the store, so maybe it's not like that now. I felt a lack of professionalism.

  • They asked straightforward, generic interview questions.
