Ah, e eles me procuraram, eu não me candidatei pra vaga.

Even though all the email communication was in English, the initial interview was in Portuguese. The recruiter got straight to the point with the questions and we talked for about 15 minutes in total. After that, I was given one day to send the test via email, which consisted of about 10 questions including customer service simulations and personal motivation/interests. After they corrected my test, I received a standard email informing me that I had not advanced to the next stage. It was a positive experience overall, mainly due to the speed.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was really disorganized and lacked a clear structure or timeline. I never received calendar invites with meeting links or participant details. It wasn't clear who I would be meeting with, when, or why, and there was no end-to-end process overview or timeline discussed. They asked if I was open to being considered for multiple roles, which I agreed to, but there was no follow-up on those additional opportunities. After three 45-minute interviews, I received a generic, automated rejection email with no personalization or feedback. When I requested feedback, there was no response. It went from being considered for several roles to a rejection with no explanation.

So the interview process was pretty standard. The HR person was really good at communicating throughout. It started with a recruiter call, then I had to do an assignment which I presented in the second interview. The third interview was focused on my past experience, where the interviewer went through my resume and asked me to detail my responsibilities at each of my previous positions. After that, HR let me know I was moving to the final round with the CCO. Less than 24 hours later, I got an email saying they had chosen another candidate. This felt incredibly disrespectful of my time, especially since I had prepared all day for the interview. While I understand they want to find the best fit, not making a decision after meeting everyone, particularly at the final stage, is just baffling. Also, reading their diversity report was quite concerning. It's 2022, and it's hard to grasp how a company in a city that's over 45% African-American has only 7% representation in their office. And no Hispanic individuals in management positions? The numbers are quite disheartening, and their proposed solutions seem inadequate.
