It started with a 30-minute call with someone in a similar role, mostly screening questions about my background and resume, and also some 'choose between two options' type questions. The next interview was with a Manager on the team I was applying for. This one was a bit deeper, asking about specific experiences I've had, what my future goals are, and how I'd fit with the team.

Had two phone interviews. The first one was with a current employee to check culture fit, and it felt more like a Q&A session than a conversation. The second was with the director of the team, which was a more natural conversation with some interview questions sprinkled in. The final step was supposed to be meeting the CEO in person or via Skype, having lunch with the Customer Success team, and meeting the VP of operations. But, the position got filled before my onsite interview date. I did like talking to the two employees on the phone, and HR was really responsive and helpful.

Behavioral Other

I had two phone interviews with two different people. The first one ran about 40-50 minutes, but the second one had a strict 30-minute limit, so I couldn't really ask questions or answer hers thoroughly. The first interviewer was late and seemed really new to interviewing, asking some really odd questions. Neither person clearly explained the job or how the team/company is growing, which made me question their experience level.
