First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Prysmian.
Sales Analyst
I applied online in early-mid November 2025 and a recruiter reached out. She couldn't share too much but mentioned hiring might take longer due to the holidays. I emphasized wanting to be kept in the loop once a decision was made. I went to the Prysmian campus in Kentucky for an interview, which felt positive, and the team seemed professional and friendly. However, I heard nothing before or after the holidays, and my follow-up email went unanswered. When I checked the Prysmian website later, it looked like the recruiter had falsely marked 'Feedback provided.' It's really unprofessional not to even send an auto-reject email to candidates who came to your office for an interview. Despite a good first impression, the communication was disappointing.

Graduate Program
I participated in the selection process for the Graduate Program. I found the whole process extremely well-organized and transparent from the start. The timeline was respected and the various steps were communicated clearly. The process consisted of 4 main stages: initial test, interviews with HR, interview with manager, and interview with HR program. They focused on the motivational aspect and fit with the program.
- Where do you see your future career heading?
Process Engineer
The interview process started with a typical screening call from the HR recruiter to go over my resume. This went well and I was told I'd hear back about a second round interview quickly. However, after multiple follow-up emails and being told repeatedly that the recruiter was meeting with the hiring manager, it took almost three weeks to finally hear back. At that point, I was informed they had moved forward with other candidates. It felt like the significant delay probably didn't help my chances.
- Tell me about a significant project you completed at your previous job.
Data Engineer
First, I had a chat with the recruiter and then with the hiring manager. After that, they ghosted me completely, not even replying to my emails. I get that this might be the standard in Italy, but it's not very considerate towards people who put effort into the interviews. I've interviewed with a few foreign companies, and they always responded, even when rejecting me. In the end, the position was advertised as Data Engineer, but they were actually looking for someone in IT to manage their external consultants. The salary was quite low for the role, 45k, and remote work was only allowed 2 days a week.
- Can you tell me about a project where you made a difference?
